"The most special thing about OSS is the variety — each day you get different lessons no matter what stream you're in, plus keynote lectures that bring everyone together across all subjects. In Stream A, we only had five people, so tutorials felt almost one-to-one. You could ask questions freely and really dig into what you were learning. Outside of classes, there was always something happening in the evenings — casino night was a highlight, and the trip to Cambridge was unforgettable. The photo hunt sounded like a lot of effort at first, but it turned out to be really fun. What I'll take away most is confidence. "My favourite part of OSS has been meeting people from different cultures because everyone brings new ideas and perspectives, especially during our economics classes. I really enjoy the atmosphere in Oxford. It has a true university feel, the architecture is beautiful, and the city is full of people from all over the world. I'd definitely recommend OSS to anyone who wants to expand their knowledge and gain a broader perspective on how the world works."

"OSS gave me the opportunity to experience what studying at university is really like. The lectures and tutorials were very different from high school, and discussing ideas with the tutors made the experience even more valuable. Before coming to OSS, I was already interested in sociology and global studies, but the programme gave me new perspectives and confirmed that sociology is what I'd like to study at university. One of my favourite memories was game night, where I got to know other students while playing poker and having lots of fun together. I'd definitely recommend OSS because you can explore so many different subjects in just two weeks, meet inspiring tutors and experience life in Oxford while discovering what you truly want to study."

"OSS gave us a real taste of what studying at Oxford is like. Learning through lectures and small-group tutorials with handpicked tutors meant we could explore subjects in much greater depth than at school and ask questions in a much more interactive environment. The programme helped us discover new academic interests while confirming the paths we want to pursue in the future. Outside the classroom, we loved exploring Oxford, getting to know everyone and taking part in activities like poker night and the murder mystery evening. If you're wondering whether to join OSS, we'd definitely say take the plunge. We had so much fun, learned so much, and it's one of the best experiences we've ever had."

"OSS feels like a combination of boarding school and university. You have the same sense of responsibility as boarding school, but you learn in a university-style environment. Before coming here, I was mainly interested in finance, but the programme really broadened my horizons. Subjects like entrepreneurship were completely new to me, and they've inspired me to explore them further. I also really enjoyed the keynote lectures because they challenged the way I think about important issues and introduced me to new perspectives. Outside of classes, I made great friends and loved the evening activities, especially casino night. I'd definitely recommend OSS to anyone who's looking for an academic challenge and wants to experience university life."

"The programme is demanding, but in the best possible way. It makes you want to engage, ask questions and learn as much as you can, and that's the same attitude you find in the other students. The lectures are incredibly engaging because the tutors encourage discussion and give everyone the opportunity to express their ideas, which is very different from my experience at school. I always leave each lecture wanting to learn even more. OSS has also made the university application process much clearer. The admissions sessions explained the entrance tests in great detail, and that's something that's very difficult to find back home in Canada. I now have a much better understanding of what I'll need to do to apply for biomedical engineering."
