KICKSTART PROGRAMMES FOR APPLICATION-YEAR STUDENTS

ONLY open to application-year students applying to Oxford, Cambridge, G5, or any UK Medicine/Veterinary/Dentistry
- maximum 20 students per Kickstart programme.

The course will be composed of lectures and an intensive timetable of 1:1 and small group teaching and preparation to include:

​

  • A comprehensive introduction to the UK admissions process with an emphasis on early application (ie, Oxbridge/Medicine)

  • Discussion around university list and college choice

  • Academic enrichment in your chosen major

  • Guidance on personal statement

  • Introduction to Admissions Tests

  • Interview guidance, including mock interview practice

KICKSTART OXBRIDGE 2024

Get your application to Oxford or Cambridge off to a supercharged start with Oxbridge Summer Scholars’ individually tailored intensive pre-application programme.

  • March 31 - April 7, 2024

  • Jan 4- Jan 11, 2025

  • March 30 - April 6, 2025

  • 35 hours of classes

  • Students aged 17-19 y.o.

  • Mainly 1:1 to 1:3

  • Biochemistry/Biology/Chemistry

  • Politics, Philosophy & Economics

  • Maths & Computer Science

  • Phycology/PBS

  • Architecture/Design

  • Land Economy

Attend tutorials in your chosen subject.

If your subject is not on the list, tutorials will be arranged

  • Visit all the colleges on your long list

  • Narrow down your university list and college choices with guidance from experts

  • Brainstorm the foundations of your personal statement and prepare for the admissions test

  • Get guidance on the progress of your portfolio (architecture)

  • Experience an in-person mock interview in your subject

TUITION FEE AND APPLICATION DATES

  • Cost £3950 + registration fee(non-refundable): £500

Our programme includes a comprehensive 5-day schedule with a maximum of 35 hours of tuition. This consists of 5 mandatory sessions each day, along with the option to attend two additional sessions per day. Additionally, there will be a college touring session on the sixth day.

Priority deadline for Kickstart programmes - 14 February. 

Final deadline for Kickstart programmes - 1 March.

NOTE FOR UK ACCESS STUDENTS

Full fee remission is available to a small number of UK students who meet accepted Access criteria* and provided they are applying to study subjects for which tutorial provision is available. Applicants must specify whether they are only interested in applying for one of the highly selective Access places on the Kickstart Oxbridge programme. 

If you are a UK citizen and resident, you can be classified as UK Access if any of the following conditions apply: BAME background, eligible for free school meals, disabled, first-generation applicant to university, care-experienced, or household income below £42,000.
