The University of Cambridge, founded in 13th Century England, is located in the city of Cambridge and is comprised of 31 colleges.

Cambridge boasts 118 Nobel laureates, including Sir Roger Penrose and Francis Crick. It also attracts dramatic talent due to its impressive Footlights drama club, which has trained famous British actors and directors, including Olivia Colman and SirTrevor Nunn.

WHAT STUDENTS ARE SAYING?

Azeem Chand

In August 2023, I attended the Oxbridge Summer Scholars Program held at Cambridge University. Over the course of the two weeks, I was able to attend a diverse range of interdisciplinary lectures that allowed me to explore my wide range of interests. New worlds were opened up and laid out in front of me, expanding my academic horizons.

I was exposed to new ideas that gave rise to a burning ambition to aim for the stars. I was plunged into a warm and welcoming space filled with like-minded individuals, and being a natural extrovert, I was able to foster connections that would last a lifetime.

All the while, I was able to walk Cambridge's cobblestone paths and feel the history of such a captivating city pour through me. Participating in this course was truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience.
